I spotted one of the Washington Square Park Red-tailed Hawks flying above Cooper Union and Astor Place today. I’d seen one of them (usually Bobby) in that area a few times before. But this Hawk was too high to identify. It was circling high above Cooper Union Art School at first. The art school:
